Keith O’Donnell

Keith joined Portland in 2016 and has over thirty years of investment banking experience. He was previously Executive Director and Head of Global Energy at KBC Bank N.V. where he was also a member of the bank’s Structured Finance Credit Committee.

Keith has fulfilled a wide variety of advisory and underwriting roles for publicly listed companies, private corporations and institutional clients. He has led transaction teams executing large scale cross border structured financings using multiple funding sources including commercial markets and multilateral/bilateral agencies. In recent times he has advised clients on rare earth mining projects, clean energy solutions for the developing world and renewable fuel solutions in developed markets.

In addition to his role at Portland Keith holds non-executive director roles and is advisor to the investment committee of fund manager responsAbility A.G.  Keith is a member of the London Institute of Banking and the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment as well as holding a Masters in Business Administration from Bayes Business School, University of London.
