Michael Hass

Michael has 20-years’ experience in leading strategy, transaction, modelling, due diligence, and transformation projects. His experience spans from inception (i.e. capital raise, market entry, business plans) to exit (deals, restructuring, post-merger integration, wind-downs), including interim finance, FP&A and strategic planning roles (i.e. exit preparation, performance improvement, transformation, cost reduction, strategic reviews, value creation).

At Portland, Michael focuses on the communications, technology and satellite sectors. Recent engagements include a $3bn financing for a HEO/MEO satellite constellation.

Prior to joining Portland, Michael was part of EY’s Financial Services Financial Modelling team in London. He holds an MBA from Lancaster University and a degree in Information Systems from DHBW Mannheim.
