Mike Harlow

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in global project finance advisory and lending roles, having worked on over 100 project transactions and helped raise over $30bn for clients in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. He has broad experience across all main infrastructure sectors and a multitude of funding sources. His extensive and current involvement in the project finance market puts him at the forefront of financing trends and he is well placed to draw upon his knowledge of precedent transactions.

Prior to joining Portland Advisers in 2012, he was a partner in KPMG’s global infrastructure & project advisory practice in London and previously a project finance banker at HSBC where he worked in London, Hong Kong and New York. He has a BSc (Hons) in Banking & International Finance from City University, London and professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
